You cannot retake the test after completion.

This is a 20-problem self-assessment examination (SAE) that mirrors content of the problems on the NBRC’s Clinical Simulation Examination for Respiratory Therapists. Developed by the examination committee, the SAE helps prepare examination candidates, credentialed practitioners, and students who want to measure and improve test performance. The actual Clinical Simulation Examination contains a total of 22 problems (20 scored and two pretest). The SAE does not contain any pretest problems.

To take this test on the web you must have the following:

• A compatible internet browser such as the current version of Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Other browsers may or may not work.
• Cookies and scripting must be enabled.
• Pop-up blocking must be disabled.
