This is a 150-question online Self-Assessment Examination (SAE) that matches the content and cognitive areas of the Examination for Certified Geriatric Pharmacists developed by the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (CCGP). It is designed to be a learning tool for pharmacists who plan to take the CCGP certification examination.
The CCGP Examination Development Committee developed the SAE and made every effort to ensure the items are similar to the real examination in the level of difficulty. Additionally, the score you receive on this practice examination may not predict the score you will obtain on the actual credentialing examination because of the difference in testing conditions. Your individual results will remain confidential.
The detailed content outline for the examination appears in the CCGP Candidate Handbook, which may be found on CCGP’s website at www.ccgp.org. A suggested list of references is provided at the end of the examination and will appear on the feedback report e-mailed to you.
It is recommended that you take the examination in one sitting, allowing no more than three hours, to more closely simulate actual testing time. However, purchase of this SAE provides you with a 90-day window in which to complete the examination. After you have placed an order, you will be sent e-mail confirmation with specific instructions on how to access the SAE.
